Vocabulary lists, words, phrases, sentences, dictation results, and other learning content that you create, import, edit, or practice in the app are stored locally on your device by default. We do not send this learning content to a server unless you use the automatic translation or High-Quality Natural Speech features described below. We do not use learning content for public display, advertising, or training public models.

When you actively choose Pro High-Quality Natural Speech, the app sends, over an encrypted connection, only the English words or phrases that need to be read and do not already have a usable cache on your device to a cloud service operated by us, which uses Microsoft Azure Speech to generate the audio. The cloud request contains the text, voice and synthesis parameters needed to complete the request, together with a timestamp, random nonce and request signature used to protect the endpoint. It does not contain vocabulary-list names, Chinese definitions, answers or results, device identity, Apple ID, or Pro status. If the service is temporarily unavailable or the request cannot be completed, the app may continue the exercise using the device's Standard Speech.
为减少重复合成、等待时间和服务成本，生成的音频可能保存在腾讯云对象存储中；其他用户请求完全相同且符合相同音色与合成参数的文本时，云端可以直接复用该音频。音频下载后也会缓存在您的设备本地。已经存在于设备本地的可用缓存会优先使用，不会仅为重新生成而再次上传文本。
To reduce repeated synthesis, waiting time and service cost, generated audio may be stored in Tencent Cloud Object Storage. When another user requests exactly the same text with the same voice and synthesis parameters, the cloud service may reuse that audio. The downloaded audio is also cached locally on your device. An existing usable local cache is used first, and its text is not uploaded again solely for regeneration.

We process the relevant text and audio only for speech generation, cache reuse, endpoint security and troubleshooting. We do not use it for public display, advertising, user profiling, or training public models.
当您在录入页面填写英文或中文，或在拍照识别后的确认页处理识别文字，且另一语言栏为空时，应用会将当前输入或识别出的文本和翻译方向通过加密连接发送至我们运营的翻译服务，用于返回对应译文并填入另一栏。拍照识别图片在设备本机处理，不会上传；该功能也不发送已保存的整份词表，不将文本用于公开展示、广告或训练公开模型。
When you enter English or Chinese on the entry screen, or review recognized text after photo recognition, and the other language field is empty, the app sends the current or recognized text and the translation direction over an encrypted connection to our translation service so it can return a translation for the other field. Photo-recognition images are processed on device and are not uploaded; this feature also does not send a saved vocabulary list or use the text for public display, advertising, or training public models.

When you voluntarily submit in-app feedback, we receive the feedback content and type you provide, together with basic app and device information needed to investigate the issue. Please do not include passwords, verification codes, payment information, or other sensitive content in feedback.
为保障服务稳定性、排查问题并改进体验，我们可能收集设备型号、系统版本、应用版本、崩溃日志、网络类型，以及匿名的功能使用统计。这些信息仅用于技术支持和产品优化，不包含您的学习内容，且无法单独识别您的身份。
To maintain service stability, troubleshoot issues, and improve the experience, we may collect device model, system version, app version, crash logs, network type, and anonymous feature usage statistics. This information is used only for technical support and product improvement, does not include your learning content, and cannot identify you on its own.
订阅、永久解锁和恢复购买由 Apple App Store 处理。应用会读取 Apple 返回的本机交易与权益状态，用于在设备上开通、恢复或校验 Pro 权益；我们不接收或存储您的银行卡号或 Apple ID 密码。
Subscriptions, lifetime unlocks, and purchase restoration are handled by the Apple App Store. The app reads transaction and entitlement status returned by Apple on the device to activate, restore, or validate Pro benefits; we do not receive or store your card details or Apple ID password.

We do not sell, rent, or publicly disclose your personal information unless with your consent or as required by law. To provide app features, we use, only as necessary: Apple for in-app purchases, subscriptions, purchase restoration, speech recognition and crash diagnostics; Tencent Cloud for cloud-function processing and synthesized-audio caching; Microsoft Azure Speech to generate High-Quality Natural Speech; translation and feedback services operated by us solely to return translations and process feedback you voluntarily submit; and anonymous analytics or crash-analysis services solely for stability and experience improvement.
